Restart a donor’s recurring donation from your Charidy dashboard in just a few clicks. Easily search for the donation, resubscribe it, and the donor will be charged again automatically based on their original installment plan.
How to Restart a Donor’s Recurring Donation
If a recurring donation was paused or canceled, you can quickly restart it right from your Charidy dashboard.
Here’s how:

Log in to your Charidy dashboard
Visit dashboard.charidy.com/login and log in to your organization account. -
Select the correct campaign
Make sure the campaign at the top of your dashboard is the one associated to the donation you're looking for. -
Search for the donor’s recurring donation
Use the search bar to enter the donor’s name, email address, or donation ID (if you have it). -
Click the pencil icon
On the right side of the donation entry, click the blue pencil icon to open the editing window.
5. Go to the 'Subscription' tab
In the editing window, select the ‘Subscription’ tab along the top.
6. Click ‘Resubscribe’ and save
Once you’ve clicked ‘Resubscribe’, hit ‘Save’ and the recurring donation will be restarted.
The donor will be charged on the next business day, and the subscription will continue for the number of installments that remained on their original plan.
